Search for UMass sports voice put on hold

With less than two months remaining until the start of football season, the University of Massachusetts is going to hold off on a full search for its next play-by-play voice for a year. Instead the school will hire a temporary broadcaster for one season and run a complete search after the completion of the 2008-09 basketball season.

Kellogg fills out his staff

With just over two weeks left until the first July recruiting period, University of Massachusetts men's basketball coach Derek Kellogg officially completed his staff by hiring Antwon Jackson as an assistant coach.
