What to expect:
From the Sailors: Everything is based around their guards. Beldo is the scorer. He averaged over 20 points per game this season. Their big men stay around the basket and clean up. They are also a force on defense clogging the lane. Fluery is an excellent slasher, think Bell except more athletic. Maybe more like the type of player Joe Grimes was for Hampshire last year. O'Brien is an athlete. He will pitch for Georgia next year. Guard play is critical though. Malone and Beldo create and look for opportunities to run. Seeking first ever state title
From the Red Hawks: Everything is based on ball movement. Anyone can shoot but ball movement opens up space for Bell (18 ppg) and the Clark twins. Brian Clark (22 ppg) spends time inside, Dan Clark (14 ppg) spends time outside. During the postseason however both Clarks have been used in the post. The lineup of McKenna, Grandonico, Bell, Clark and Clark was very effective against Bromfield. Only went seven deep against Bromfield so depth could be an issue if there is foul trouble. Seeking first state title since 1987.
