Born June 5, 1944, in Holyoke, Rose was a longtime South Amherst resident and moved to Hadley 5 years ago.

SOUTHAMPTON - Helen E. (Bogdanowicz) Clapp, 68 passed away at her home Feb. 18, 2012 after a long illness.
Helen was born on Sept. 14, 1943, in Northampton, the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Punska) Bogdanowicz.
She attended Northampton schools and was a longtime employee of the former Northampton State Hospital and Sunny Acres Nursing Home.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen "Nellie" (Ruddeforth) Parsisson.

SUNDERLAND - Olga F. Skibiski, 93, of 147 North Main St., died Sunday morning, Feb. 19, 2012, at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.
She was born in Holyoke on February 3, 1919.
