NORTHAMPTON - A Hadley teenager was listed in critical condition Sunday afternoon at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield after suffering life-threatening injuries in a bicycle accident Saturday evening, according to the Northwestern district attorney's office.

· James Edward Erwin, 28, who provided an address as the streets of Northampton, was arrested Sunday at 10:11 a.m. on Main Street on a charge of domestic assault and battery after he pushed a woman in the face, police said. The woman didn't need medical attention, police said.

NORTHAMPTON - A local car dealer has purchased the former Kollmorgen Electro-Optical site on King Street for $1.8 million. Consenzi Automotive Realty Limited Partnership closed the deal Friday afternoon to buy the 5.1-acre site at 347 King St. The Cosenzi family owns four dealerships in the region under the name TommyCar Auto Group, including Northampton Volkswagen and Country Nissan in Hadley. Northampton real estate agent Patrick M. Goggins, who brokered the sale for Kollmorgen, said the 95,000-square-foot building sold for less than twice its asking price of $4 million because of environmental issues associated with demolishing it.
