Former developers of failed Paradise One project indicted on larceny charges

NORTHAMPTON - The former developers behind the failed Paradise One condominium project in Easthampton have been indicted on larceny charges in connection with the alleged theft of $146,000 in deposits put down by prospective buyers five years ago. Heather P. Whitley, 46, of Salisbury, and Nancy B. Whitley, 54, of Northampton, who were married but divorced in 2009, face three counts each of larceny over $250 for mishandling condominium deposits taken from restricted bank accounts related to Paradise One.
