Rosealine Hoffman, longtime Amherst resident

HADLEY - Rosealine "Rose" (Peloquin) Hoffman, died peacefully at home Feb. 21, 2012.

Born June 5, 1944, in Holyoke, Rose was a longtime South Amherst resident and moved to Hadley 5 years ago.

She leaves her beloved husband of almost 49 years, Walter Hoffman. Rose also leaves her four daughters, Lori Hoffman of Hardwick, Brenda Martin of Belchertown, Tina Adamczyk of Middletown, N.Y., and Dawn Schabacker of Hadley; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Claudette LaRiviere of Plattsmouth, Neb.

She was predeceased by her parents, Noel and Leona (Racine) Peloquin.

A celebration in Rose's honor will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Amherst. Burial will be private.
